WILSHERE TO HOLD TALKS WITH WENGER

Jack Wilshere is one of the hottest prospects in English Football and he wants to sort out his future amid interest from other clubs. The 18-year-old wants the chance to push his claims to be part of Fabio Capello's new England plans with regular football at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsene Wenger has still to fully kill off Barcelona's interest in Cesc Fabregas and that could delay any decision on Wilshere.

The player has no intention of leaving the Emirates but knows he needs a full season of regular football under his belt to further his international claims.

COYLE BACK IN FOR WILSHERE

Bolton manager Owen Coyle has approached his Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger about the possibility of midfielder Jack Wilshere returning on loan next season.

However, Coyle insists defender Gary Cahill will not be part of any package after he had been linked with the Gunners.

Coyle said: "I called Arsene Wenger to thank him for letting us have Jack last season. I think it was a fantastic experience for him and a very worthwhile one for us too."

Wilshere Wants Action

Midfielder Jack Wilshere says that he is determined to break into the Arsenal first team when he returns to North London from his loan spell with Bolton.

The Englishman, tipped for inclusion into the England's World Cup squad for South Africa, says that he wants to continue playing first team football next season. It is unlikely that Wilshere will be thrown straight into first team football next season, and that is something that he wants to avoid.

Wenger: Wilshere loan possible

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels that a loan spell away from the Emirates Stadium would be a great help to Jack Wilshere's development as a player.

The 17-year-old has been linked with a temporary switch to Burnley, and Wenger is said to be seriously thinking about letting the midfielder go to Turf Moor.

Wenger wants a guarantee that Wilshere would play before he sanctions the loan, but he thinks that it could work out in a similarly positive way to Ashley Cole's loan from the Gunners to Crystal Palace 10 years ago.

Wilshere needs to play

Arsenal starlet Jack Wilshere has played down his chances of making England's World Cup squad.

Theo Walcott was a surprise inclusion in Sven Goran Eriksson's 23-man party for the tournament in Germany four years ago and Wilshere has been tipped as an outside contender this time around. Fabio Capello is a known admirer of the 17-year-old midfielder and stated at the start of the season that he would be following his progress.

Wilshere meets Capello

Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere insists he has little or no chance of making the England squad that will travel to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The 17-year-old - who turns 18 in less than a week's time - has been mooted as the next big thing since Wayne Rooney, and there has been talk surrounding a surprise inclusion in the national set-up, as managers are often fond of gambling with untested quantities on the big stage.

Wilshere plays down England chances

Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere has played down his chances of making England's World Cup squad.

After Gunners team-mate Theo Walcott's surprise call-up for the tournament in Germany in 2006, Wilshere, who turns 18 on New Year's Day, has been tipped by many as the dark horse for the 2010 tournament in South Africa.

"I'd rather there wasn't the hype. (England talk) is nice to hear but it's difficult, too. I mean, I can look forward to things but I'm not stupid," he told the Sunday Times.

Coyle wants Wilshere

Owen Coyle has confirmed his interest in Arsenal starlet Jack Wilshere but admits there is a long way to go before a loan deal can be agreed.

The midfielder is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in English football but has found it difficult to establish himself as a regular starter at Emirates Stadium.

Wenger recently revealed he would be open to the idea of Wilshere going out on loan when the transfer window reopens, but only if he was guaranteed a lot of playing time.

Wilshere to go on loan

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering letting teenage midfielder Jack Wilshere join Premier League side Burnley on loan.

The 17-year-old England Under-21 international has made six appearances for the Gunners this season.

"Wilshere needs to play," said Wenger. "Burnley is a good club. They play good football, but Jack must want to do it.

"I like the idea, but at the moment we are a bit short. Jack is in the squad nearly every game."
